Is the freedom camper Customizable?
The Freedom Camper is intentionally designed as a minimalist basecamp, ready for you to outfit however you like. Whether you want to mount awnings, solar panels, roof racks, or ventilation fans, the Freedom Camper makes it easy to create a setup that fits your lifestyle.
On the roof, you'll find two raised composite wood areas—ideal mounting points for racks, awnings, or solar equipment. For fan installation, simply follow the manufacturer’s instructions as you would with any other camper.
Do I need a Platform for my freedom camper if it is in the truck bed?
For the 48x79, 58x79, and 58x89 models, a raised platform is required to elevate the camper above your truck’s wheel wells. This not only ensures proper fitment but also creates valuable storage space underneath—what we like to call"the garage."
The 48x89 model is specifically designed to nest between the wheel wells of full-size trucks without the need for a platform. Its tapered roofline is engineered to match your truck bed profile for a seamless fit.
Multiple aftermarket drawer systems are compatible with the Freedom Camper.
